Research and Portfolio Analyst

Drue Jaramillo serves as Petra’s 1031 DST Property Research Analyst and Portfolio Architect.  He is responsible for underwriting and evaluating Petra’s pre-structured property inventory and recommended portfolio allocations.  Using Petra’s “online”  DST Custom Portfolio Design Center, Drue collaborates with each 1031 private client to construct highly diversified and customized DST passive income portfolios.  By combining active asset allocation with passive property ownership, Petra’s 1031 DST investors can construct Personal Optimized Property Portfolios (“POPP”) designed to generate sustained levels of (tax efficient) income and growth.  Drue shares Petra’s mission-focus to help investment property owners transition from active property management to diversified and passive (lifestyle) income.  Income that can be used for living, giving, and legacy planning.

Drue is a graduate student at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University and has degrees in Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics.  He is also the founding Treasurer of the Hispanic Restaurant Association (HRA) and played a crucial role in establishing the organization’s financial infrastructure. Drue’s applied knowledge of business operations, data analytics, and financial risk management has positioned him at the intersection of technology and finance.  He represents a new generation of portfolio analysts that know how to combine data-driven research with predictive technology tools for efficient asset allocation and optimized performance outcomes.
